Every seasonal range that LUSH bring out is bigger and better than the previous year's, and this year's Valentine's range is no exception. Containing a larger variation of new products, unusual and original scents, as well as old favourites that always come back, I'm very grateful t have had an opportunity to sniff, demo and get to learn about all of these products. Now, I'm going to share my thoughts and opinions with you!

Here's a pic of my haul of products, and these are what I'll talk about first:

UNICORN HORN BUBBLE BAR:
This is one of the most popular products from the VDay range that makes a return every year, but this is the first year I've actually managed to snag some! It's every colourful creature's mystical fantasy, a beautiful pastel mountain with floral swirls of ylang ylang, neroli and lavender. Neroli oil is an uplifting scent that stimulates the release of serotonin to the brain, thus lifting even the darkest of moods. The water turns many beautiful shades of pink with lots of lustre and shimmer, making this the perfect bubble bar to add to any floral bath bomb.

OVER AND OVER BATH BOMB
With a similar design to Christmas' Never Mind the Ballistics bath bomb, (and Roller, an Oxford Street exclusive) the top layer of this bath bomb is coated with Fair Trade cocoa butter, which will melt away in the bath and nourish even the toughest of skin. The smell of this bath bomb isn't too dissimilar to any kind of disinfectant, a clean, citrus concoction of lime and fennel. If you ever get a chance to see a demo of this slow-fizzing bath bomb in store, make sure you stick around until the end, because you'll get to witness the beautiful pink, orange and yellow shades that are buried deep within.

LOVER LAMP BATH BOMB
This product is probably one of my all time favourite Lush products, and proves that sometimes simple is better than over the top. The little hearts on the outside are made from cocoa butter, so again they're great to moisturise your skin and leave you feel scrumptiously soft. Vanilla extract and Brazilian orange oil merge to create a delicious chocolate orange-esque scent, reminiscent of the regular line Lava Lamp bath bomb. Lots of red edible hearts float around your bath to create a truly lovely bathing experience. 

LOVE SPELLS MASSAGE BAR
I adore the look of this super light and absorbent massage bar. Massage bars are almost like a solid body lotion, with a base of cocoa butter and shea butter to help leave dry skin feeling unbelievably soft. This super cute addition to the VDay range contains ingredients such as soothing aloe vera gel, moisturising jojoba oil and rosehip syrup, which has holistic restorative purposes. 

TWO HEARTS BEATING AS ONE BATH MELT
Not one of my favourites from the range, but a great product nonetheless, THBAO is an indulgent bath melt which can be used as a whole melt or split into two. Almond oil and apricot kernel help soften and hydrate the skin, and contribute to a subtle but delicious scent, while jasmine and ylang ylang add a floral note. This bath melt is a beautiful, rich addition to any bath, but it's only something that I would use sparingly so I'm saving it for a special occassion!

ROSE BOMBSHELL BATH BOMB
Rose Bombshell had previously been released as a part of other range's last year, and made it's triumphant return in 2017's VDay range! If you're a fan of products that have a similar scent to the Rose Jam range, this is the product for you. Rose absolute and rose oil contribute to that oh so familiar rosy scent, whereas Sicilian lemon oil and geranium oil add a balancing and original edge to this bath bomb. With gorgeous pink water and beautiful rose petals inside, this bath bomb is one of the best around, especially when you're looking for a relaxing and self-indulgent pamper!

PRINCE CHARMING SHOWER GEL


LOVE YOU, LOVE YOU LOTS SOAP
Another floral, overwhelmingly rosy scented product. The whole version of this soap in store is gorgeous, so if you get the opportunity to call into your local LUSH to see it, please do! All LUSH soaps have a coconut oil and rapeseed oil base so they're very softening on the skin, and this soap also contains rose petal infusion, rose oil and rose syrup, so there's no prize for guessing what it smells like! The scent is quite gentle, but very distinct. I actually really enjoy it, but I'm not a huge fan of using soap in general, hence why I haven't picked this product up yet!
